Bowie stands in a spotlight on a concrete stage, singing to a crowd he cannot quite reach, refusing to disappear even as the world presses in, and these films put their characters in that same stance: visible, vulnerable, but unbroken. Each one holds a moment where someone chooses to be seen, to matter, to resist erasure through sheer presence and will, even when the cost is isolation or incomprehension.
